Halloween Movies for the Kiddos

Halloween Movies for the Kiddos

Happy Monday friends! I have to admit that the whirlwind of back to school got the best of me… Getting into a new rhythm has been a serious challenge. Not only did we take the leap and jump into home school but, I am still working remotely, and Justin is back at the office so… Phew, its been a rough few weeks!

I see a bright side, even though these are challenging times. I know that the tug on my heart to home school is what is best for our family. The freedom of home school is unparalleled and once we hit our stride I know we will be unstoppable. I hope you’ve had a few good weeks since we last connected. I’d love to hear how your back to school transition has gone this year. If your answer is smoothly, please let me know your secrets.

So, this post is short and sweet! And, was inspired by a conversation we had around the dinner table last week. While we were sitting around the table, we started talking about what the girls wanted to be for Halloween. Nora decided that she is going to be a (good) witch. And, after a failed attempt to find a Princess Holly costume…Sadie settled on being a mermaid this year! We actually ordered their costumes that same night, and got them the next day. Thanks Amazon!

Aside from the fact that we have no idea what Halloween will look like this year, the girls are pretty pumped to celebrate. So, Justin and I got to thinking about some kid friendly Halloween movies we could watch together as a family to keep our spirits high until the big day. Check out the list below and let me know your kid-friendly favorite!

Your Halloween Movie Checklist

Danielle Ravitch | Halloween Movie Checklist

Although it blows my mind that we are almost in October (seriously where did September go?), I am excited to welcome Fall with open arms! Full disclosure, I still need to decorate our home for the season – what’s on my radar?

Some festive throw pillows, switching out some shelf & mantle decor and decorating the front stoop. Last year I added mums by the front door and they were destroyed overnight by a family of deer. Let’s just say I’ve learned my lesson this time around.

I am so glad I am able to connect with each of you here, and I plan to continue my weekly posts so, please be sure to check back in. But, for now make sure to grab your free Halloween Movie Checklist here!

Until next time,
