You Need to Help me Choose Our Bathroom Vanity Fixtures!

We are at the point in our renovation where we get to pick paint colors, PAINT COLORS!! Well, at least in some areas of our cottage. And, although the areas we are painting are small, they represent such a huge step forward. We are finally starting to add some personality into this mini construction zone, and it feels so good!

Our shiplap fireplace wall is now painted! I love the color more and more each time I look at it. But, after the first coat of paint was layered on that project, I found rinsing off the paint brushes in our only working full bathroom, and completely disliking the white wood panels I so highly praised when we first moved in.

I made up my mind then and there that it was time for a little refresh of this space. And that my friends includes choosing not only a new paint color but a new light fixture as well. I shared in this post the design direction we are planning to take this cottage in so, please keep that in mind when you review my lighting selections below, and share your thoughts!

Something you should also know is that our primary bathroom is small. So, while I’d love to pick an over the top chandelier, we need to be practical with this space.

Vanity Lighting Style Board

Disclaimer: I am working on restoring my Canva Pro account, until that happens feast your eyes on this ghastly style board 🙂

  1. I love this! So much so that its been on my Amazon wishlist for weeks! Just waiting for the perfect opportunity to press that buy now button…::hehehe::… what do you think?

  2. I have a soft spot for mid-century design elements, and this glass globe vanity light from all modern looks amazing (and is very highly reviewed).

  3. I would totally go for a set of these Pottery Barn sconces if our bathroom was just a bit bigger. One on either side of the vanity mirror with over mirror lighting as well, would that be too much?

  4. This is a bit different from most of the lighting fixtures you see here. While I love the idea of rattan, I think that might get a bit tricky in the bathroom, with upkeep and all. This rope wall sconce though looks so elegant. There’s just something about it…it might end up in our future primary bathroom…

  5. Yet another selection in gold, and completely out of left field. This blossom vanity sconce from Anthropologie is a total splurge, but gorgeous! In time, our only full bath here at home will be the girls/guest bathroom, and I think adding a light fixture like this would add a bit of whimsical elegance to the space don’t you?

  6. I’m also really into these modern linear lights. This one from Las Sola comes in a range of sizes from 16” all the way to 39.3”!
