You may or may not know this but, the constant conversation your having with yourself is impacting your daily life, and that of your future. Have you ever done a mental inventory of whether your thoughts are primarily positive or negative? It’s time you take action and harness the power of positive thought, your quality of life depends on it.

An Introduction to Positive Thought.

Did you know that your brain cannot decipher between a de-constructive thought or a constructive thought. And, that our brains become magnetized with the dominating thoughts we hold in our mind? If that idea scares the crap out of you, are you ready to find out how it can make you feel powerful?

You are in control of your thoughts! You choose what goes on in between your ears and you can truly transform everything. However, you will have to institute daily habits and practices to aid in your transformation. Unfortunately, the act of committing to do something daily is often a deterrent in our society of instant gratification.

Nevertheless, if you are ready to put your happiness, growth and dreams first by dominating your negative thoughts, here’s what you can do – arm yourself by setting up practices that contribute to your happiness. Some examples – meditation (to connect your body and mind), keeping a gratitude journal, or connecting with a loved one. The options are endless really.

If you are intentional by taking simple steps over time to put your happiness first, each and every day, you will be better able to release negative thoughts, stay present and remember how amazing you truly are!

Some Positive Sayings.

When I find myself slipping into a negative thought, I turn to a few affirmations or quotes to get back on track. Its kind of like snapping a rubber band but less painful. Here are some of my current favorites:

  • “I love the life I have while I create the life of my dreams.” – Hal Elrod

Can you tell that I am in a season of creation, and business building? These affirmations may not fit your needs right now. And, that’s okay! Search for affirmations that speak to you.

Bonus Tip: Invest in your personal development. I find a lot of my favorite affirmations and quotes within the pages of a great personal development book.

Positive Thought Really Works.

Infuse your days with positivity and, you will notice a shift in your mindset. Suddenly, things that bothered you before have no meaning or maybe you are pushing yourself out of your comfort zone like you never imagined. Once you arm yourself with this tool you can expect growth and development in any and all areas of your life.

Now, I am not suggesting that you will become immune to negative thought because they will slip in from time to time. But, when you invest in the tools to harness the power of positive thought you will be better equipped to dis-empower each and every negative thought.

Ready to make positivity a priority? For some, this is no small feat since we have mentally conditioned ourselves to focus on what we are lacking, or on other self defeating thoughts. But, your mindset is powerful! It could be what’s holding you back from your true desires, wants and dreams or what sets you free, and propels you toward growth and transformation.
