My doTERRA Morning Routine
Today, I am going to share the five products I use every morning before my cup of coffee. This is my doTERRA morning routine. For the most part, these are hygiene items we all typically reach for to get the day started. The difference is that the products I am going to share with you are all natural, plant based, and essential oil infused!
Believe it or not, there can be a ton of toxic products in our homes – whether its household or self care products. We reach for products each day that have the potential to wreak havoc on our body systems, skin and overall wellness. One of the reasons I chose to invest in a wholesale membership with doTERRA was to ditch and switch the toxic products in my home for natural alternatives.
Now, eliminating chemical based cleaning and self care products will not happen overnight. But, small steps forward over time can lead to major transformations. Transformations that lead to a strengthened immune system, better mood and enhanced support of your body systems. OnGuard Foaming Hand Wash
OnGuard is doTERRA’s protective blend, and well known for its ability to protect the body against environmental and seasonal threats. My girls say that it smells like Christmas because it has a warm and spicy citrus scent.
This hand wash is great for its natural cleansing properties, and will not dry out your skin. Which is perfect for those of us with sensitive skin. This has become a staple in my doTERRA morning routine.
OnGUard Natural Whitening Toothpaste
Our family orders On Guard Natural Whitening Toothpaste every month in our LRP order. It’s fluoride free and the only toothpaste my toddler will use. Even over the pink glitter toothpaste.
This toothpaste is known for cleaning, and freshening breath. Trust me, you won’t go back to your everyday toothpaste after giving OnGuard toothpaste a try!
Frankincense For Your Morning Routine
Usually, after I brush my teeth and use my tongue scraper, I reach for Frankincense. I keep it right in the medicine cabinet so I don’t misplace it – its good for so many things so its easy to lose track of. Topically I add a drop to my moisturizer to reduce the appearance of those pesky fine lines and wrinkles. Aromatically, I love how it pairs in the diffuser with wild orange + lavender! Just 3 drops each, soo good!
If you’re looking to relieve head tension just throw 5 drops Peppermint, 5 drops Lavender and 6 drops Frankincense into a 10 ml roller bottle and top with FCO.
Each morning I take Frankincense internally because it is perfect for promoting feelings of relaxation, balancing mood, as well as supporting a healthy cellular function.
Verage Skin Care Collection
I cannot say enough good things about this skin care line. Let’s dive into what this Collection is comprised of –
Cleanser – nourishes and rejuvenates the skin. Its great to use both morning and night. It easily removes my eyeliner and mascara, and leaves my skin feeling hydrated.
Toner – I have to admit, this is the product I use the least in the entire collection. While its perfect to use after the cleanser to tighten and tone your skin, I like to use it as a light facial mist…kind of a pick me up on a hot summer day.
Serum – okay now this serum is the first to go when I open a new collection. I love how it feels on my skin. It just soaks right in! So, if you are looking to improve your skin and get that healthy glow, this serum is a must have!
Moisturizer – Adding the Verage moisturizer to your skin after the serum feels amazing! Its light, non greasy, and will leave you feeling refreshed!

Helichrysum Touch
This touch roller was released at doTERRAs 2020 convention. And, if I’m being honest, I wondered how I would use this roller when I received it in my Convention Kit. But, when I looked into this oil I discovered that its widely known for its restorative properties. Whenever one of my girls gets a bump or bruise, this is what I reach for.
There have been a handful of situations where this oil has come in handy. Nora is getting older, she moves around a lot and sometimes she isn’t very aware of her surroundings. All of us parents know this equation is a recipe for disaster. No matter how many times you say “slow down” or “be careful”, something is bound to go awry.
In this instance, it ended with Nora having a good size knot on her forehead. I grabbed my Helichrysum touch and applied it to Nora’s forehead. The swelling went down quickly, and the bruise began to disappear within the first hour. I was amazed.
That’s because helichrysum is known for its restorative properties.
Most recently, I have been applying this oil (morning and night) to a pretty gnarly scar I have from my reconstruction surgery. To be honest, the surgery was five years ago and I didn’t expect much but, I decided to give it a shot. I can honestly tell you that my scar is slowly fading away, and I couldn’t be more pleased.
Helichrysum has been a complete game changer for me (and my morning routine) and I am not even using it to its fullest potential. But, I do plan on never running out of it! I will make sure to have this oil in supply at all times.
