This week we are taking our preschoolers to the farm! There will be fun outdoor games, crafts, and read alouds to help you celebrate this theme.
The letter of the week is “Y”, and it is the last letter we will be introducing to our preschoolers. Can you believe we’ve covered all 26 already? In math we review some of the fundamentals that we’ve learned this year like shapes, patterns, measurements, and more.
The field trip this week is to a local farm, which was one of my favorite things to do with my girls when we lived on Long Island. As always, there are a lot of fun and educational activities to sift through below. And, it’s completely up to you on whether or not you choose a handful or do them all.
Let’s dive into week 27…

Print out these farm animal tangrams from Life Over C’s (email required).
Have your preschooler create shapes with playdough or on a geoboard. You can have them do this on their own or make it a fun game by calling out the shapes for him/her to make.
