Fall Fashion Hunting Vol. 1
It’s been cloudy here in Tennesee, and threatening thunderstorms. I even called off a hike at Ijams with friends yesterday because the forecast called for a storm. Okay, now to get you on the same page…
We’ve been experiencing the hottest temperatures of the summer over the past week. It has been unbearably dry (and HOT) around these parts. So much so, that when I hopped on the ride on mower, so much dust and dirt kicked up like never before. So, these cloudy days are very welcome. Atleast by me.
Not to mention that the dip in temperatures gave me the best sleep I’ve had in weeks last night. So, I’m ready for Fall, even if Tennessee takes a few weeks (or more) to catch up with me.
And, I’m tired of wearing my rotation of summer clothes. So, let’s start prepping our Fall (slash Winter) outfit…
Fall Outfit on Heavy Rotation
Let me just say, this outfit would have a steady spot on my schedule. And, for years to come. Let’s face it, as much as the fashion world is trying to get rid of them, skinny jeans, well, they’re not really going anywhere. And, I LOVE this pair from Levi’s…
Levi’s 311 Shaping Skinny Jeans | this Maui Views wash could weather all four seasons. But, I would totally pick up a few other washes too.
Tom Petty Tee – Unfortunately, I became a huge fan of Tom after his passing. Just listen to his music if you’re going through something, and he will make you feel understood. Even when you don’t understand whatever it is yourself. Personally, whenever I hear “Wildflowers”- when it randomly shows up on my playlist- it’s like a message that everything is going to be okay. And, for that, I will forever love Tom. While I did want to grab his Wildflower tee (it sold out), this 90’s Reissue Fan Club Tee is pretty legit too.
Kate Spade Women’s Gramercy Watch | I love this watch. I purchased the stainless steel version afew years ago. It’s no longer available from what I can see but, I will be wearing it, once I get a link removed and replace the battery.
Urban Expressions Lennon Backpack – I’ve been on the hunt for a new purse. My crossbody just doesn’t cut it anymore, I hate to admit it but, it’s just too small. I love this faux leather backpack! I’m also slightly worried that I;m working my way back up to my massive tote bags.
Nikes Womens Court Legacy | not my idea… I saw a fellow homeschooling mom wear these, and immediately took notice. Yes please, I’ll take a pair for me!
Tahitian Pearl Studs| I’ve been dying for a pair of these studs for ages! I’m not too sure what has kept me from pulling the trigger. Perhaps, its because I have 5 earring holes and don’t wear one? But, I would argue that these studs, these would totally change the game. I know nothing about picking proper jewelry (quality wise) unfortunately but, I picked these because I thought they were pretty.
AE Long Cardigan – a cotton knit blend, there a three color options but, the Cream version can go with so many outfits this Fall and Winter. But, if thats not your thing, there’s also blue and black.
In case you’re wondering, I’m listening to THIS playlist as I write this post. I’m not a trendsetter when it comes to well, pretty much anything… but, when I connect with something, it is lifechanging for me! And, I’d love to share those moments with you…
