Diary No. 5
Can you feel it? Now that it’s officially November it feels like the buzz of the holiday season is winding up. And, in the next couple of weeks, it will be in full swing. No matter how much effort and thought I put into this time of year, I for one always feel unprepared when the holiday season rolls around. What about you?
Sometimes I feel like I could be doing more, or now that a lot of people start celebrating Christmas in November, I often feel that I’m behind. Ugh, it’s the worst feeling. I equate it to a chicken running around with its head cut off.
And, I have to remind myself that being frazzled, anxious and lost in thought is just no way to celebrate the season. So, my goal this holiday season is to be fully present. And, to create beautiful memories, around simple moments.
So, naturally the Type A in me needs some sort of list to stay on track, right? Of course! And, while I’ve already shared my fall bucket list, this will be more of an idea list of simple moments to capture the magic of the season.
